Alan Ives founded, directed, and applied his craft with the Ives Brothers Painting Company over four decades, developing deep and lasting relationships with many of New Englands leading designers, architects, builders, and artists.
He has held leadership positions with the Painters and Decorating Contractors of America, and has been trained and certified by Fine Paints of Europe, The United States EPA Lead Certification Program, The U.S. Green Building Council, and developed the renowned PrepSafe Program for safe and healthy home painting.
Today, he continues to offer his expertise to industry professionals, home improvement companies, and now offers specialty painting and paperhanging services to the Greater Portland Maine area.
